Animal Screening Policy
To help ensure ALL of our residents understand our pet and animal-related policies (No Pet and Animal Policy / Pet Policy / Animal Policy) we require EVERYONE to complete a third-party screening and review process. This process ensures we have formalized pet and animal-related policy acknowledgments and more accurate records to create greater mutual accountability.
Pet policies vary by owner and property. Please call our office before submitting a pet screening application to insure the property you are applying for will accept the breed of pet you are applying for. (Under HUD’s Fair Housing Act guidelines this policy does not apply to assistance animals.) There is also an additional pet fee and security deposit for each animal. Please call our office before you make application to find out all the fees that might be associated with the property you are applying for.
Please note, for a Household Pet an application fee of $20.00 for the first pet and $15.00 for each additional pet will be collected by the third party. Assistance animals and no pet profiles are free of charge, but applicant must still fill out the application and submit all documentation.
PLEASE NOTE – Please make sure all documentation is uploaded and pet screening is completed. If we need to call to request any items it will delay the review process. We continue to market our properties until all documentation is submitted and verified and move-in monies received and a lease is signed.
